Washington -- Concerned about traffic safety, the US government passed legislation for all NASCAR tracks to have lanes painted. Passing zones shall be clearly marked. No speed limits are set, it is after all a race.
President Obama signed the bill and took a lap around a track in a Mini Cooper. He normally does not drive a stick shift. But the mini was more green, though the crowd jeered the odd vehicle.
